its under the rear seats, just unbolt the backs off fisrt then remove the bottoms.
pretty straight forward after that. 4 screws holding it down i think.

as for why it could be a fuse. or just an old seized pump.
maksure all your electrical plugs are are tightly inplace.

Have you checked your:

-Circuit Opening Relay
-Fuel Pump Resistor and Relay
-The rest of the wiring

Just follow it down the chain. Make sure you are getting voltage on each of the plugs when you are supposed to.

Let's back up a bit more...

How do you know your fuel pump isn't working? Have you checked for spark? Does the motor turn over with the starter?

The fuel pump relay and resistor are in the engine bay (if they weren't bypassed and removed). Who did your wiring?

You will want to replace the fuel pump with a Walbro pump or Supra TT pump, but it would be fine to start the car and do some initial tests without an upgraded pump.

[Hi charlie m8 the car turns over but wont start i took of a rubber pipe going in beside the injection unit it smells like a fuel line but none came out wen the car turned over, i havent checked for spark yet m8 but i will tonite, the pump used to make a noise in the old gt wen the cey was turned in ignition but now i get nothing, a local garage dun the engine conversion for me, even if i press the accelerator i dont get a petrol smell im no sure what to do would a supra pump go in under my back seats?

yes a supra pump would work. you should upgrade to that or the walbro anyway since the oem pump cant supply enough fuel.

the wiring harness for this swap isint 100% plug and play. you have to rewire a few things to make it work, thats why you car isint running right now. ive never worked on a st205 harness, but from what ive seen, you should just be able to wire in the COR and fuel pump relay on your own and everything else should work.

the reisitor is there so that the pump can be run in low or high mode. if you bypass it, it will always run in high voltage.

i never really hear it running at any different speed than just one speed confused.gif

a friend pointed me to this page about pump voltage vs flow rate vs pressure, a couple volts makes a LARGE difference it seems.

its not a resistor, its a radio noise supressor. it kills any radio noise that would back feed up the power/ground and could potentially cause some weird issues elsewhere.

um, no. its a resistor pack.

not according to my service information.

if it were a resistor then its on ALL the time, since in the sender theres no way to bypass it, theres no additional wiring. i'll grab a scan of the pages and show you what im talking about.

the st205 fuel pump circuit has a resistor and a relay, the relay switches power between a straight wire to the fuel pump and a wire that has a resistor pack in it. this relay is controled by the ecu.

relay

if you dont have these items, just do the bypass method on the data link connector
