ive been hearing a knock knock sound on the 3000-5000 rpm inside the engine...a newbie mechanic told me tha should be the engine parts inside tnat are gone (i always try to drive at the lowest rpm i can)

i initially heard the sound when i bought the car without giving it enough importance, always keeping the oil full

so it must be that the engine will be gone soon, that means the car should be gone too, im very sad frown.gif

This is bad. There is thread about it somewhere on here with a big article the Doc Tweak posted. You should never drive your celica under 2k except in 1st gear. I believe it even says that in the owners manual. Driving at a lower RPM will actually damage the motor and is very hard on the all the moving parts to slowly chug around like that. kindasad.gif

indeed, i mean by lowest rpm at 2000 normaly my min, on go fast i go 3000, and in the climbing 4000, but that knock knock sound at those rpms make me try to work at lower

anyway i dont have the manual from the car, ive learned most of things screwing up, at least i could screw this up, but the car came making the lil sound

i feel like a son of mine is going away frown.gif
