Well i have decided to swap my celica. I've got a good group of guys helping me on this and its almost complete.
my tech team is still working on it. but i expect shipment within the next month.

Im hoping that these will push the 250 HP mark.

here's the boost gauge i'll be running. some of you saw it last night already installed.

here's my tech team working on the crank for me

i gotta give props to jack, steve and aaron for making this happen. these guys are amazing.

some pistons and piston rods

The "spikes" on the piston rods are hollow tubes that go into the holes you can see on the bottom of the pistons and inject oil into the inside of the piston which keeps the top of the piston from overheating. Some high-performance auto engines have a similar feature where an oil squirter nozzle squirts oil onto the bottom of the piston.

cylinder deck u can see jeremy checking things over on number 5

and here's where we're at right now. as i said. shipment should be in about a month or so. then we're slapping this baby in the celica and calls will be made for some serious dyno time.

Im hoping to run mid 8's at idle.
Not sure if im going to need a cowl induction hood or not for clearance issues.

fin!

all I can say is your going to have some major traction issues.

nice pics though, probably a curse ship turbo desel smile.gif

not gana have any traction issues at all with that motor in the celica the down force on the tires would be so great they would not be able to slip probably just melt away before you got anywhare.

The largest ship engine out there now produces somethin like a million horsepower and it's max rpm is like.. 50. Not a typo.. that is fitty!

--------------------
87 4runner DLX 22re, 5spd, 4.30gr, 4" lift, 30" tires, HID w/ Projectors, 6spkr + sub, custom exhaust, 94 celica leather seats, SR5 gauge cluster and clinometer. Future engine swap... possibly a 2jzge.

it's safer smile.gif
when you're as big as that you get more power by having more torque provided...if you can balance a crank a mile long, i'm guessing you can run 1 cylinder and get insane hp just going ~60rpm

...i'm doin it!
