OK, I'm a bit confused here..., Why does my ST have leather? Options

The lady that originally bought this car must have been smoking crack when she ordered it because she ordered a 94 ST hatch with almost EVERY option (and then some...but we'll get to that).

The car has a CD player, moon roof, spoiler, rear wiper, and power everything (it's also an auto).

The odd thing is...somehow it also has leather. it looks to be very stock leather @ that the exterior of the car is black and the interior is what i refer to as "the cow" interior tirm panels and floor mats are black but the carpeting and (leather) seats are tan.

I thought the ST wasn't available with leather.

The car is definately an ST because it has rear drums and the chassis code starts with "AT200"

I'm not too familiar with the car yet but will be doing my research as time permits..

Can anyone inform me on the oddities of this car?

Oh it also has the extra large (fake) leather center arm rest too.

I have an ST (EDM version) and I have leather interior from stock too...

btw my leather looks way different. it is perferated and does not have the diagonal stitch design like yours. I want yours!

btw is there anything special about the black tan interior?? I hate it and want to convert it to all black. All I would have to do is replace the carpet and leather covers. all the body panels are already black..

my mom doesn't want me to change it because she "Thinks" she remembers hearing something about the black/tan being some special order or something.

could it be the "special edition" ST?? my sister has one of those "special edition" ST and it came with a spoiler, drums, cd player, etc, ......except she doesn't have leather interior

the STX was a special option but its only worth about 50$ to a dealer
your better off changing to all black and getting the car detailed before selling it (that is if you ever get rid of it)
so id say change it the way you want cause the cow is kinda ugly

lol, thats really common on all 6 gen celicas. I dunno its weird. Its a bad design anyways casue the cupholder is also worthless.

I use my cupholders...then when I shift I knock whatever drink fits in those damn tiny holes onto the floor and possibly the passenger!

It's called an "option".

Just like mine didn't have a sunroof, but the person that bought it wanted one. So, it has a Toyota Genuine sunroof.

i dont think that it was an option either in 94' to be honest. I think maybe the previous owner wanted leather that damn bad so he sourced leather seats or something. IMO, cloth seats FTW. Leather.... it rips all the damn time, its cold when its cold and hot when its hot, and noisy when you move...

I have leather, but thats because I just swaped it in. My guess is, that the previous owner swaped it in. ITs not hard to do or un-common.

Are you serious?
ALOT of verts i've seen have leather.
Mine came stock with leather, the wheel too, im getting it redone though since the front seats are stiff, the rear seat is mint though
