Hey guys i just have a quick question. i bought a 1995 toyota celica with what im pretty sure is a cat back sp-1 possibly sp-2 exhaust already installed. as of recently i have a hole in the piping that connects the the cat. After calling greddy they told me that i cannot order just the pipe i need. So what i have to do is have it custom built/welded but im not sure what size diameter the current pipe is. I think it is 3" but would like to be positive. any info would be great.
thanks This post has been edited by celicaboy95: Aug 29, 2006 - 12:53 PM |

GReddy was the only company to make a complete catback exhaust for our 1994-1999 Celica GT's/ST's - both the GReddy SP1 and SP2 have 2.5" piping. The only difference between the two is the muffler design.

the SP1 has a painted cat-back pipe, as well as muffler chamber, and goes up about 1/2" onto the muffler tip. as for the SP2, i'm not positive.
i believe the greddy sp for the celica has a 60mm pipe, which is 2.3622" (approx 2 3/8"). so, depending on the side of the pipe's wall thickness, you can either slide a piece of 2 1/2" piping over it, or a piece of 2 1/4" piping into it. hope that helps. -John- -------------------- |
