so someoen on here was talking about when you restart you engine or something, your car gets really fast, and its good to do it every so often.....so i was wondering what this is all about....??

i think what your talking about it resetting the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds and then reconnecting it. All this does is lets your car's ECU "relearn" how you drive the car, mostly for automatic cars deciding when to shift.

there actulay a proccess to resetting your ecu, like it saves the date and retains it after power loss, I though you had to do a 3-4 step thing for it to erace the data and recollect it.

and its good to do whenever you add mods to your car, like intake or exhaust because it will get new data for how to run best with the changes, like if you intake gets colder air, it will sence it and you'll get the most out of it.

word. Dont expect it to be like "OMG THIS CAR FEELS LIKE A FERRARI!!11!" after you reset it. In fact dont expect to feel anything, its just good to reset after modification like creis said.

yeah, I just did that a couple of nights ago and I could really feel the difference, it might be because i have manual though, dunno but you should definately do it.

Does anybody know what exact memory celica's ecu has ?
about 10 error codes i guess which are erased after 10 succesful engine starts
so what about another memory? can acceleration depend on how you usually drive
