I want to get new sway bars for my car. Since the GB for the Suspension Techniques was going on when I first got my car and I didn't want to jump in on something I knew nothing about I missed out so I am just going to order them. Can anyone verify that the ST sway bar set that NOPI is selling is the updated design that doesn't have the problem with rubbing? NOPI STs I will also be ordering the rear end links for the st185 End Links since I don't want to have to worry about the ones that are on there now being rusted in place. Does anyone know of replacement front end links that fit? I remember reading a thread a while back that had some posted (I think they were for the fronts) about replacement end links. They were some type of metal with red ends on them where the bolts went through, but I can't seem to find the thread. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks guys and gals.

Dont know if they fit or not. Really i wouldnt worry about it, they most likely will. And i have the updated version of front and rear sways, they dont rub at all. If you need help install let me know. I did it myself, and its damn near a 2 man job.

Jim, I know that the updated version of the sway bar dosn't rub, thats why I want the updated version, I was wondering if the set I was going to order from NOPI is the updated version, I wasn't sure if anyone had ordered those off the link I gave. And thanks for the link on the end links, those are exactly what I was thinking. smile.gif

haha, funny story about the updated version of that sway bar, the reason it was updated was because whne i bought the original set from Sus. Tech they would not fit at all at the front, so my father contacted the company and we eventually sent them our original front sway bar, and they sent us the first updated version of the front sway bar. Sorry, i know you probably could have lived w/out needing to read that, but just thought id share some knowledge i guess.
The front links btw are easily removable if you take some penetrating spray, and spray the ends of the links, then clean the threads off with a wire brush and make sure you have the correct allen wrench end for the link, then they should come off fairly easily, and make sure to put an anti-seizeing compound on them when you put them back on to make sure they dont get stuck again. Good luck.

Your best bet will be to call Nopi and ask, though I doubt they'll even know.

Thats alright Jim, I can barely read what I write sometimes. And you were right Coomer, I have already called NOPI and spoke to a guy named Jason who told me he didn't know and I would have to call him back next week. I just wasn't sure of the his reliability.

Well I called NOPI back today and they confirmed it was the updated design so I'm hoping it's the same one you guys got in the GB, I guess I'll find out when it gets in and I get it installed biggrin.gif.

here is the thread i created a while back ago about my end link expereince.

http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...mp;hl=end+links

the twosRus people only had the rears, which was fine since i had no problems with the front ones. In fact, i dont even remember taken those off during my spring install. Anyway, the rear ones are fantastic! A much better design than the toyota ones.

Thats the same thread I read about those on Orville, although I'm not doing springs, I'm replacing the sway bars. It's good to know they are worth it though, they look like they are a much better design than the stock ones that are on there now.
