Took a daytrip to the Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck Nova Scotia on Wednesday. It was no doubt the most fun i have had with my clothes on in a long time. Great weather, gorgeous countryside, friendly people and roads that should have no speed limits (j/k...just add 20 km/h if you drive a Celica).

As you cross the Canso Causeway onto Cape Breton Island the scenery changes. The roads twist and turn as they cut into valleys and around beautiful lakes. I took a few well chosen back roads and was not dissapointed. I stopped in Baddeck for lunch and to visit the Bell Museum. If you think Bell just invented the telephone, think again. The man was a genius and his legacy lives on today.

I could have stopped every 10 minutes to take a picture, but i didn't-- too much fun driving. Here though are a few maps and pics.

Hope this encourages a few of you to go for a spin, take a few pics, find a map, take some notes and post the whole lot of it in a reply.
