7AFE takes the same filter a lawnmower takes, upon finding the Fleetguard part number I found this out.


With a hour of research I have found a bigger and better interchange four this motor.




LF655 Sightly larger but clears everything and flows 50% more oil at the same pressure.


Stock filter has 3/4-16 UNS thread, and the LF655 has 3/4-16 UNF thread. The difference being a radius at the top and bottom of the thread that matters not.


I just changed mine and it works great save a strap oil filter wrenche will not clear the gap between the exhaust manifold and filter housing.


Filteration is better too as it is a fiberglass media with synthetic adhesive as opposed to paper.


I also am trying 0W40 synthetic that has a flow rate less than a standard 15W oil would at +200F and a pour point of -79F
