has anyone installed new cv axles? how hard and how long. how much would a shop charge?? estimated . thanks wink.gif

One side will take 30 to 1 hr tops, its very easy, un bolt your strut, brake like from the strut, take the axle nut out, slide the axle out of the hub then it pops out of the tranny. Put the new one in and reverse steps.

about an hour total per side if you have all the right tools and its your 1st time.

I just did it this weekend for the first time, and mine were really stuck in there. Just watch the seal when you pull out the axle, will save you a lot of time if you don't mess it up. Good luck
