So as some of you may know, I had this turbo kit on my car for about 9 months without any serious problems. I took it off about 2 months ago because I wanted a more reliable car since I only drive it to and from college, plus I may swap a 3sgte soon. This kit was VERY performance oriented. The guy who I bought it from put it on an engine with a gze bottom and reported 350 hp at 18 psi. I never ran this turbo at more than 8 psi, as I still wanted a reliable daily driver. After I installed this kit the difference was astonishing. The car would push me back into my seat at just 7 psi.

Here is a list of parts and pictures with descriptions:

Garrett GT28 Ball Bearing Turbo Charger with High Nickel Composite Cast Exhaust Manifold
This turbo charger is incredibly responsive: starts boosting at about 2000 rpm and is finished by 3000. There is no shaft play, but I will still say that the buyer should probably have this turbo rebuilt. The reason I say this is because I ran this turbo with the oil drain at about 10 degrees off of strait down and on a smaller oil return line than I should have. The turbo worked perfectly and still does, but sometimes it would burn oil upon heavy acceleration. I just want to be absolutely sure that the buyer knows that if he wants the longest life from the turbo that a minor rebuild should be done.
There is about 8,000 miles on the turbo charger.
The turbo should be reclocked so that the oil line is strait down (I'm just too lazy to do it myself).
Included with the turbo is an oil feed line and big return line, steel braided coolant lines, and external wastegate set to 7 psi.
The manifold is in great condition and comes with a heat shield and bung for the manifold temperature sensor that also in the kit.
The buyer should also know that in order to install this kit the front engine mount must be removed because of the way the turbo mounts. I ran my car like this for 9 months with no problems at all, but if you want you can get the rear mount reinforced or a custom from mount if you want to run much more psi. I never did this and had no problems.

UPDATE: 9/11/06 I am not selling this for sure until I get it rebuilt.

Turbo XS rlf (modified 2 trumpets) Blow-off valve. $60 shipped.
Perfect working condition, pre-welded into the IC piping. It's pretty loud when you are driving hard, but can be quieter if you are driving softly.

Oil Filter Relocation Kit $25 shipped.
This is necessary for the mounting of the turbo. Comes with 90 degree elbow to keep oil lines away from the manifold.

IPB Image

12:1 Fuel Management Unit (FMU) $85 shipped.
Necessary if you are not using a 2 bar map sensor. This makes sure that the engine is getting enough fuel while boosting. Also included are the check valves. Steel braided line is included.

IPB Image

Fuel Cut Defender $50 shipped.
For Toyotas. Disables fuel cut while boosting.

Gauges: Autometer Boost Gauge($50)pending sale, Greedy Manifold Temperature Gauge (EGT) ($100), Autometer A/F ratio Gauge ($60)pending sale, and Greedy Oil Pressure Gauge ($40)pending sale all prices include shipping.
All gauges are in good condition and work perfectly. They hook up is easy, too. You just need to hook up ground, 12v, 12v ignition, 12v light (they light up at night) and then into the harnesses. Also included is the panel that I custom made from wood that fits the gauges into your glove compartment (see the pictures in my profile). Very sleeper.

Oil Line Splitter with Pressure Reducer $55 shipped.
Necessary for the oil pressure sensor. Pressure reducer makes sure that the turbo is not over oiled. Brand new from jgstools.

Koyo Aluminum Radiator $120 shipped.
I never installed this because I knew I wasn't going to run the psi that I would need it for, but I'm throwing it into the kit anyways. There are some bent fins, but I never installed it so to my knowledge it works fine. For manual transmission only.

Greedy Front Mount Intercooler and Piping $100 shipped.
This is a BIG intercooler and just fits with no cutting required. I painted the front black with engine paint and it looks really good in my opinion. I also will include all IC/turbo piping for the kit, but note that it’s made mostly from crush bent piping. It worked well for me but everyone seems to want mandrel bent stuff now... whatever. (note ic piping is meant to hook up for a turbo that mounts downward.)

550cc Injectors $200 shipped.
Work perfectly. Some of them have some cracks in the plastic at the bottom from use (see pictures). All of the o-rings were just replaced from the dealership (cost me 50 bucks for o-rings!), so no worries about leaks.

IPB Image

SAFC 2 $200 shipped.
Excellent condition, works perfectly. A must-have for the bigger injectors and fmu. Plus it's sweet in that it tells you RPM, Manifold pressure, Knock, Throttle position, etc and can record stuff, too.

IPB Image

MSD Boost Timing Master (BTM) and Tachometer Adapter $170 shipped.
I got this from Manny (Pressure2) a while ago but never installed it. This retards engine timing per pound boost, so that you know your engine won't go boom-boom for higher boost. I never needed for only 7 psi, but it's a good safety precaution, especially for high boost. It's also tunable at the dyno. You can see that it's in amazing condition. It includes the tach adapter necessary for hook-up to the Celica.

IPB Image

MSD 6AL Ignition $60 shipped (cheap b/c wiring harness is cut)
I never installed this also because stock ignition sufficed for my low boost. This makes your spark super hot so that more fuel is burnt and you get more power. I will throw it in the kit anyways for someone who wants to run more boost.

------------------------------------------------------

I bought this kit from a member here, and I want to offer it all to you guys before it goes on ebay or I decide to part it. I bough this 9 months ago for $2500 dollars, plus I added more and better parts to it. Everything that you need minus fluids, manifold gasket, and a bung for the oil pan is included in this kit. I am willing to get rid of this everything in this kit kit for $2000 shipped, or less for local pick-up in Ventura, CA. Feel free to ask any questions, and thanks for you interest.
