Guys, I was browsing through some hotel rates and it's looking good so far. They're looking as low as 50 bucks per room/night. I'm trying to get a beachfront hotel in ft lauderdale and I also saw one for 64 bucks per room/night. So the search is going well. I'm just trying to get this as low as possible for everyone. I also want to find out if we can BBQ near the beach.

We can have the BBQ on the beach, I know Ft Lauderdale beach has some grills and tables set up. Im sure other beaches have spots aswell.

It would, but I dont know where we can drive onto the beach lol. Theres a park near my house where you can freeley drive across a grass field, maybe we could hit that up for pictures or even have the bbq there for anybody who doesnt wanna go to the beach.

Well.... weather we do this on wed. or friday, I have more then anough time( I hope) to get my car up and running.... so I'll be there... And BEN you better go man because whether or not I have my car I'm showing...sooo you better... lol... anyway there are some places here for some good prices, **** I am going to be in one this weekend most likely and its only $75 a night but it has a really nice setup, its an efficiency and its on the beach..... hope I get to see you all again.

Yeah Ben glad to hear it... nah I'm getting this guy who owns this shop to check it out and he should be doing an estimate for me tomorrow. Then I'll know if it is what I think it is.... a bent frame... but hopefully its the control arm or strut

Are you poking fun of my quarter mile time?! Lol. I'm probably going to end up going supercharged. Colin's right, I should've gotten it like that from the factory but I'd rather pay it cash and save the $200 or so that they'd charge me in interest for it.

How low can you get the hotel rate? That's one of the things I was worried about - possibly getting a $50 SH!TTY hotel room. I'd rather pay a couple bucks more if you guys already now it's good.

I'm excited. The thing is this meet is still a bit a ways from now. Mid-November. Same like all the other meets. I was so anxious/nervous/excited to meet everyone on the way to Orlando. Lol, so I'm sure there'll be more posts as we get closer and plan everything out exactly.

News on the hotel/rate? Date/s? Things to do?

Any chance of this being on a Friday(night) or is it for sure going to be on the weekend? Any day is good for me as I live here.

For other SoFla people, do you guys want to meet up the Friday night before the meet at Towers? Possibly discuss other things to do when everybody arrives?

We can have a bbq at the beach, or have a bbq at a park in which we can basically drive anywhere on the grass theres also bridges we can stop on to take pics. Not much of a photo opportunity at the beach unless someone knows where we can drive onto the sand lol
