I have heard a lot that the e153 can be converted to fwd platform using the AWD all trac tranny how is this done exactly? and what is the diffrence between that Tranny and the JDM ss-111 3SGE tranny that came with my celica?
Does anyone have any detailed info? Thanks -------------------- |

If you search around the forum, you can find info on how to use a E153 tranny for your Celica. E153 tranny should be stronger than the JDM SS-III 3S-GE tranny (Which I consider to be a S54). E153 has longer gears. Can't think of anything else. Must sleep. ugh.

First a E153 is from a v6 solara, camry, and turbo mr2. They are already made for FWD. If you get a e153 from a mr2, you'll have to swap out the shift linkages from a GT.
As far as the AWD tranny, I'll look up the stickie later. -------------------- |
