If i were to get the 3SGTE with an AWD tranny, and want to put it in my 1994 Celica ST, and I am given the engine with the LSD 5 spd tranny and center differential, is that all i need to have it work after install? or are there other pieces i would need.

You need also the tank of a GT4.
Don't forget also to cut the back floor panel.

read the stickies on the swap.

doing awd isint a bolt on kind of thing. you need lots of custom fabrication by somone who really knows their stuff.

go out and buy a 5th gen alltrac. youll get the same results and it will be a lot cheaper.

You would need to remove the fuel tank and spare tire space from a ST or Gt to fit the drivetrain components. You could use a gt4 fuel tank or just getting a fuel cell may be easier. If I remember correctly you'll need to change the motor mounts on a ST, GT will swap over. Plus the tranny mounts as well. The rear suspension is needed as well.

Basically your saying through this thread if I don't have like an extra 5k+ to get the items for my front end and rear end, then I can't do this?

thats just the prep work. then you have to figure out how to mount/fabricate the whole rear end.

its going to cost you 10grand to swap the car and convert to awd, at least! . and thats if you do 90% of the work yourself.

Yep, you need money. Lots of it. Along with lots of money, you need an understanding of how a FWD system works, and an AWD system.

What do you need to know about it?

It's got the 2nd gen 3sgte 200hp (unless your some lucky guy that happens to find an RC model rawr rawr)
AWD
24/19 MPG HWY/CITY
You could prolly get one for around $5k
They weigh 3272 lbs? don't quote me on that.
uh..is a hatchback? seats 4? haha what else do you want to know about it? haha

EDIT: Don't buy stupid nonrunning ones...I had my ass handed to me by my own Alltrac :'(
