Ok here's something....A FACT! A new ford mustang has 65% of parts that come from US and Canada, A new Toyota sienna has 90% of parts from same region. Whats more American Now?

E85 is garbage, less mileage when you use it. Why not refine to electric cars? electricity is most vast and easy to get. And I got to thinking... what if we relied on that E85 and then there was a drought or famin, insect thing? That would be setup for disaster.

Well, the only reason E85 is even vaguely affordable is federal subsidies. As I said before, it doesn't make sense until gas reaches $7 a gallon.

IT GETS BETTER, and NO, I did not make this up; this is a man in college:

"I personally think that the hybrids r the gayest thing to ever hit the roads, i dont know whose bright idea they were but that person should never b allowed to design cars again, the hav no horse power, no speed, and no desire in looks watsoever, if hybrids r the way of the future i dont care wat every1 else drives, im stickin to my truck with its huge 350 with about 300 horses, that way i can just run over the lil hybrids if i so desire, and if i want fuel economy i can just get in my Monte Carlo and go flyin by the lil hybrids while their engines top out at 30 mph, i can see it now, extreme drag racing of the future, "Some of these cars may reach speeds of 60 MILES PER HOUR, at these extreme speeds, it is required that the drivers where helmets!" lol, wow, if hybrids r the future than the future is gonna SUCK!"

E85 makes sense.

When gas hits about $7 a gallon.

And yes, SUV's are a real culprit in taking up far more fuel than necessary; a V6 minivan (heck, an I4 minivan when they start making them again  ) can suit 94% of the needs of soccer moms. But, they just aren't cool.

Don't underestimate, however, the impact of V8 domestic sports cars driven hard eating gas fast as well.

Of note, the V12 mentioned above is small displacement for a V12; considered a very sweet and smooth engine.

AGH! I4 in a minivan, I fear that I would end up having to push the van up a hill. 4-Cyls in a minivan just doesn't cut it anymore especially in a 7 people family. 6 sounds just right, but an 8 is not neccassary.
Now 12 is overkill for insane driven maniacs who have a death wish.

Most people buy gas guzzling trucks so that they can tow heavy duty equipment for it. If you have one of these trucks and your using it for daily driving consider being a very thick headed person or a REDNECK!

I'm talking about necessity here, which someday will influence American spending.

Yes, I4 in a minivan would blow. But minivans today are larger and heavier than their '80's counterparts. In many developing countries almost all vehicles are 4-bangers.

What I'm protesting against is horsepower creep; notice that the V6's going into minivans nowdays are significantly larger than even 5 years ago? That many sedans are pushing the 250 hp mark? It just doesn't make sense.

.... no gas at all, 0-60 in 4 seconds. And its made by an 'off' company of Lotus.

anywho the biggest engine I could find was the viper, v10, 8 liter.
