I, like some others I know of on here, am an avid gun and rifle lover. I recently bought a Mosin nagant M91/30. Numbers matching military issued 1944 tula.-->the most sought after and in better shape than any I've seen. I need a scope and mount for it, and they get a premium price here in the states. I was going to see if anyone from in or around russia could find one at a gunshop or something for cheap.
if anyone is interested, let me know. |

You may want to try www.sportsmansguide.com they were selling a PU scope and mount combo w/ original cover and lense caps. I dont recall the price but it seemed reasonable to me (I'll search tonight) but would'nt that require drilling into that nice reciever? -------------------- |

russian 7afe head and pcm? well i wasnt really serious it was more wishful thinking, i read somewhere that the russian 7afe was PR'd at 120hp, not the 110 that the US model was and i heard it was due to the cams and PCM tune, both having to due with emissions. i wouldnt be able to pay you what you'd want to sell them for.

dude, I can't use em. Them being the head (no cams) and the intake. I can, however, see if I can find the cams. Honestly, if you'd give me $100 plus ship they'd come to your door.

Actually US got the downgrade version, mine came on a JDM 7afe. It's just the head and intake manifold with throttle body. no valve cover and no cams. Also, there is no distributor on this. All other parts are in near perfect condition.
Here are some pics. You'll notice that the intake has toyotas variable speed induction system known as TVIS. I don't have the PCM, you'd have to use a apex super AFC and tune it to your liking. If you want the set up, I'll do $75 plus ship since It is missing a few pieces. |

man, if the prizm wasnt my daily driver i'd consider this...and if it werent an automatic (or had an A246E trans). i really really apreciate the offer, but i just cant have my car down for the length of time it'd take to swap heads like that.
how come you havent put it on your 7afe? -------------------- |

you didnt want the tvis system?
see i think the larger difference between the US spec and russian spec is emissions related, im pretty sure the US spec has milder cams for better emissions, i know thats one way that they do tweek emissions. -------------------- |
