I've nevr blown any fuses, but I got mine from the first GB, which came with a relay and apparently these later ones don't? isn't the stock headlight fuse supposed to be a 20 anyway? I don't know for sure, I just thought it was.

the stock headlights uses a 15 A fuse.

and the first and I think the second GB came with relay, and this 3rd one didn't, I haven't look into it but that may be why we got a higher defect rate. I'm gonna talk to the manufacturer about it.

yes i have bought from the first and second group buy, and they both had the relay and a fuse included in the wiring, the fuse from the first and second GB is a 30A fuse, incase that helps anyone, dont know if they did the wireing the same way on later GBs. Just putting that info out there.

mad.gif im writing this because i have had to wait my ballast for more than a month now. i have been more then patient in the wait and all i get are excuses on when its coming. i sent my defective ballast the next day of trying to get it work exactly 36 days. i also have complied with all the information that was needed in order to get it sent back to the right address. this will be my last group buy from culp its just ridiculous that this experience on this group buy event has turned into a bitter feeling. i mean if you think about it what if my bulbs go out or another ballast am i gonna have to wait two months? you know i was one of those people who tried to defend the person getting blamed by saying "you cant make everyone happy" but if you have to wait for one stupid ballast for longer then a month its just ridiculous. mad.gif he also told me last week that i would get a tracking number and i have not received that either. i would have been cool with it if culp was straight up with me and said something like hey man " i cant get it to you right away cause the factory takes about a month to send off the replacement" something like that would have been easier to hear instead of ill send it off in two weeks then it doesnt come. and then you have to ask for it and get an excuse every following week thats just bull

is nice of you this, but let's see, I told you I was gonna give you one of MY BALLAST so you can stop complaining about it, I know is a lot of time, but have you ever try to get a company to replace something ? they alwasy drag their feet cause they already made the money, is my fault YES because I'm in the middle and whatever they do looks like I'm the one doing it. I always do my best but I'm limited on resources. and BTW I want you to check the tracking number I sent you to your PM box and POST WHAT DATE THE PACKAGE WAS SENT. I'm busy but I always do my best and is nice that you appreciate that.

Thanks.

hey man be patient. i sent my lights back twice already so i know how you feel. i've been without hid's for a while, maybe longer than you. just be patient. everything will work better if you think in a positive way. culp is trying his hardest to get us our kits. the company is in taiwan for crying out loud, communication will take longer since they are sleeping while we are awake, vis-versa. Shipping, its on the other side of the world, it'll take long... So, calm down okay?

P.S. i love you all, my celica friends! biggrin.gif

dude, just chill out. Culp is a very honest and trustworthy guy. It's the company who is taking it's sweet time in getting back to him and Culp has no control over that. So just wait for a little while longer and I'm sure it'll show up. and then you'll be happy you waited. wink.gif

i hear ya, i was told should be at my door in a week to week n a half, but who cares, they are light bulbs laugh.gif you've probably driven without hid for how long and a normal kit costs like 300, ive since switch to projectors so am prolly gonna have to wait even longer to get some h1 bulbs. it sucks having to wait, but give it some time, culp probably shouldnt have said any time frames but oh well, at least hes helping.

on a lighter note... the weather keeps gettin better outside!!!!! can wash ur car and it stays clean for longer than 2 days biggrin.gif

FIRST of all i just received the tracking number today after i had to call you out on your lack of communication.SECOND it was never clear on when the replacement ballast was coming. THIRD i had to make the assumption that it was the companies fault and not yours but you had made it CLEAR from on an old e-mail that you didnt need our defective ballast to come in, so that you can send us off our replacement's. culp you took responsibility the moment we had discussed on the replacement. if you had told me like i said from the start " that, hey man " i cant get it to you right away cause the factory takes about a month or so to send off the replacement" that's pretty much all i asked for and not the run around. it seemed as if you were trying to buy time when all i needed was a straight answer. that's what im mad about and why? would i want your ballast it's not what i paid for and YES im glad i got a good deal I DO APPRECIATE IT!!! BUT IF YOU TELL ME THAT YOU ARE TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR SOMETHING YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER WHY WOULD YOU MAKE EXCUSES. thats what i dont appreciate how hard is it to be upfront with someone. in the future for everyone's sake let it be known that on a GROUP BUY CHANCES ARE THE WAIT WILL BE LONGER IF YOU HAVE TO SEND OFF SOMETHEING THAT CAME IN DEFFECTIVE. DONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE COMPANinIES INSUBOARDINATION IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A JACK#%% write a thread on buyer beware it might take longer then expected ,that might just work.

you started all this today and the ballast was sent yesterday, but you're in all your right to be mad so go ahead , unless there is something I need to answer I won't go ahead with all arguing.I know that whatever actions the company does looks bad on me because I'm responsible for the GB, I could do the same and start sending mad emails to the company about the waiting time, do you think I have fun making you guys wait ? I'm the one who gets to deal with all this comments, so no fun,er prod but If I get pissed off and send comments like this to the company, they are on the other side of the world and they know I won't take an airplane to go straight things up with them, so the best is to handle things with patience. I understand you're new to the site, so you haven't suffer the delay of other GBs for other products, is not on any of us control to avoid things like that, some people had to wait for months to get sway bars, or JDM tails and that's just how GBs can get, most of us know that by experience and since I'm aware that you're not included on that I decided to give you one of my ballast, that I've never installed or used. I did test it before I ship it to you, but I've never had HIDs on my car. and is funny how I sent this yesterday and you give me all this today, but man is all good I have no hard feelings for anybody on the site and I won't start with you, I apologize all the inconvenience this transaction has cause you.

Stevenson
