Wow! Much worse than I expected!
I do the love the "TADA" pose the girls are doing in front of it though.

other parties insurance said they are liable, went to look at the car on 9/29 will call me 10/1 with a number...

what number should i be happy with?

Which number? Paying you for the value of the car? Or a price for you to buy the car back?

I have never had a claim b4..so this is all new to me...

should i be looking for retail value which is more than what i paid for the car..

or just what i paid for it?

Tell them you want a million dollars because of sentimental value. That's what I did and it totally... did not work.
When I had the adjuster come and look at mine they have a system that they use to value the car. I think that's what you have to go by. Are you planning on buying it back? If so let them know right away or they will sell it to the junk yard for nothing.

Still plan on showing up?

2 different adjusters.
One for the car and the other for injuries..

just trying to see if they will give me ACV or retail..

I'm pretty sure that all insurance companies go by NADA value, which is fairly high compared to others.

Also, was your daughter taken to the hospital? If so, you may be entitled to money for pain, because the other vehicle was at fault for the accident.
