Ive had my celica for a few months now, and ive saved up about 1500 hundred dollars and want to go all out with my car. i was told that i should lower it first, then put an exhaust. i pretty much have an unmodified car except for an intake. what should i do first?

Rims and lowering your car is a good start.

it looks like he has rims in his profile picture, and fairly nice ones from what I can see. Definitely lower...small things like JDM tails and clear turn signals/side markers can add a nice touch as well.

I say since you have a white car, and black 18's all you need to do is lower it and get a oem cf hood. And then maybe get a TRD wing with cf center, Or a 2 post with cf blocks.

Def lower it.. always my recommendation for a first mod.

but then after that its up to you, if you are going to do a body kit, i'd do that because I love the attention it gets from having one..

I would say first lower. should come out to be around $400 if you do the work yourself.

If you want better handling, go for a S-Tech sway bar kit at the same time, should be around $300

Then I would say do a basic lip kit, I would go for some stock sides and some front and rear spliters if ya can find them at a good price. That might run up to $1000 painted, with you mounting them and putting them on.

As for performance. I think you will be wasting money, unless you do an engine swap. I havnt seen to many mods that make a worth while improvment.

Oh I forgot, a short shifter. a TWM will run about $150 i think, or a 7th gen ebay one will run about $45

if you have the money and know how to make it all work right, then yes.
