I know it's not a sixth generation Celica, but I figure I might put the word out, since I've already registered here and haven't done so yet at Celica.net
195 thousand miles, 5 speed, power everything leather (not in the best shape) red/maroon paint (clear coat flaking off of right front quarter panel) light - very light - hail dents, mostly on hood and roof, (can't tell if the angle and light is right, but there's enough to notice when you get close) tinted windows (passenger window missing a small chunk on bottom) cracked windshield air needs to be recharged, but compressor is functioning cruise, tilt, power bolsters on driver's seat new suspension on all corners installed by Toyota installed 1 1/2 years ago 4 wheels disc brakes, ABS doesn't function, would cost less than 300 to fix at Toyota dents, dings and scratches here and there seals leak (naturally at this age) but doesn't burn oil will probably need two new tires soon, and the other two new ones don't match 205/55 tires on factory 15 inch wheels I can email pictures. It's not in pristine shape, but it runs like a bat out of hell and corners like it's on rails. I took it on a 600 mile round trip when I looked at the 96 GT I bought two weeks ago and I cruised the whole way there and back at 75 miles an hour and got 32 miles to the gallon. We all know it's good for at least another 40 thousand miles. Kelly Blue Book has it's value at 2200 dollars. Anyone interested? I live in West Tennessee. Email me at DoothaBartman@netscape.net |

There is now a picture of the 91 on my member profile page. Click on my name and you'll see it. I have more pics to send. The wheels on the car in the picture are also for sale, 475 plus shipping.
Just a bit more info on the car... It had a new timing belt installed about 30,000 miles ago. The brakes were totally replaced at Toyota when I bought it, and it stops better than my 96 even with the ABS not functioning. It also got some steering components replaced a year or so ago. And even though the seals leak, it doesn't leave any spots on the driveway. It's a completely solid and reliable car. This post has been edited by Zephyr: Jun 21, 2003 - 11:37 AM |

Just in case anybody is curious to see if I ever sold the car, I let it go yesterday for 1800 dollars. It sucks I only got so much, but I guess it's better than nothing.
