hey guys, for some reason my car has been Idling higher than normal, mainly when its cold, like when i just start it up it will be almost up to 2,000RPM with the clutch all the way in, after it warms up its still high but not as much, it'll stay around 1,000 or just barely under that,, why is it doing this?? i just had the oil changed about 200miles ago.

Who changed your oil? A vacuum line may have accidentally been disconnected. Check all the little rubber lines coming out of the intake manifold, and ensure they are all connected to something. That's a good start.

Yeah but lines could also just come loose over time/age/bumpy roads etc. Be sure to check both ends of the lines, not just the manifold ends.

Also if you have access to a timing light, check to see if the timing is advanced. Check both with the timing connector connected and disconnected.

car is up 2000 rpm cause of a possible vaccum leak.

check out the throttle body, check your hoses too that they arent cracked. the rubber hoses get hard over time and they start cracking if you mess with them.
