Wrong section. That's an MR2. Last I heard he hit 800hp with the 3sgte in there, but it only runs something like 11s in the quarter. That's called a dyno queen. Sad thing too. A 800hp rear drive car would be awsome to have it you could get it to hook up right.

Tuffy would beat this car.

This car is a 'questionable' dyno by a guy named LB on the mr2 forums. Its a LOOOONG story, the car built with stolen money. hes a horrible driver, but an impressivly built car. Tuffy runs a 10 sec 1/4, if i recall he (LB) is using a 42r but its not bad.Watch Bryans current build, its going to be crazy. Just to compare, 90% of tuffys mods i have in my mr2 but he runs a full second faster. Its all about traction.

Yeah... I was noticing that when I watched Tufy beat a souped up STI and a 1000hp Supra. Tufy had way better traction than the other guys even though his car is 600whp.

IF you haven't seen it, watch it here:

repost.

If your legitimately interested in the car. its #1 on mr2oc's dyno list. The owner, Jeffery Burke, supposidly scamed alot of people on mr2oc to build that car. (ie parts and other such nonsense, presure2 knows the whole story.)

http://www.mr2ownersclub.com/mr2records/dyno.htm

i searched "jeffery burke" on mr2oc's search function, but i got 3 hits. hes basicly been erased from that site.

Says who? 1/4 mile a mr2 wont have traction problem like the supra or any high hp 2jz will. But if you wanna live in the fast and furious mentality thats cool to.

Im sorry lol, but this is important to.Sorry man, I'm not trying to be an ass... but everyone knows that a Supra will decimate all... after you put about fifteen grand or more under the hood. And if you have to, overnight some parts from Japan.

Whoa whoa, youve ridden in a SUPRA?!!?!?!? Wow,that must make you like, an expert or something. Actually, it cant do that much with a large turbo and to much spool time, no low-mid end torque, its used for dyno, where did you come up with that wierd theory that a big turbo and bolt ons = a fast supra in every sport? My friends is pushing a t88 single turbo, thats pretty hefty so yes i have my own viewpoints but thanks for trying to give me them anyway.

Im not debating they are faster on the top end, and i wouldnt go around claiming I havent seen anything yet. Look at top secrets supra powered by a 3sgte (not the 2jz OH NOZ). Im not promoting or demoting either car, im saying unless you know your stuff dont bad mouth a car. and my friend owns a 20b rx7, thats fast, im not all that impressed by supras or their prices. 50k will but you a 500+hp mr2 easy. But in a drag comparitive to money and build time and cost of the car. Mr2 / all trac > supra.

The "real deal" wow dude, you know id try and debate cars with you, but your just to idolizing of the supra. Its just hype dude, ever seen an ls1 rx7, or maybe 20b in a 86 rolla? No, i dont think so, you stick to simple cars. Ill admit the supra is an amazing car, with a lot of potential, worth it for time attack/ road courses? Hell no. Drifting, ya i guess but it gets expensive (but what in drifting doesnt) its not called a dyno queen for anything. Personally the 2jz in a gs300 is my taste for a long highway drive, but theres nothing fun in a straight line. hitting a turn at 90+ while everyone else is braking is fun in my book, but thats why there are many diff types of cars.

I like the supra, to an extent. It just bothers me when people watch fast and furious or look at all the 1000+hp cars and figure the supra is the end all. its not, at that point its show not really go.

haha im calm, what did you swap the ls1 into an FD or FC? The fd guys get crazy angry about pistons in rx7's, but its the simplest way to deal with all the problems.

ya a reliable 400hp car, no extra maintance besides oil changes and other small things. 30-50k. it sounds about right, but with the mods he mentioned it was capable of MUCH more. that was a good debate, although some people were kinda rude.
