G35 Options

So I was talking with my dad today and he said that if I get myself out of my 3000 dollars of debt by this december then next summer he would help co-sign if I needed it cuz of my credit for a G35. Its too early to tell if this would happen but what color would you guys think is best?? I didnt think of any other color than black so I could throw some black wheels, lower it, dual exhaust and tinted windows. but then i saw the blue which is hot and i havent seen often. I know theres a new one coming out next spring but id probably get a 03 G35 or something


PS - dont jump on the celica parting yet lol cuz we'd keep it as the back up car in the family

i say get a white one! and if possible get the skyline edition, my neighbor has a white skyline g35, and WOW! he has it slammed on tein ss coilovers i think with some special edition volk ce28n's, i'll try to get you some pics..

im not a fan of white cars at all so thats the last color id ever get..

its either black or that blue and possibly the dark charcoal.

Im test driving one this weekend to make sure that its worth saving up for.

Wow... that's a serious goal. It's worth it I guess? Not sure but damn... I love the G35. They look so freakin sexy. I like them more than 350z's. LoL. Except for the ugly 4drs. I don't even know why they made those. It still seats 5 people like the coupe. But yeah, I definately would pick the G35 over the Z anyday. The Z is too bubbly like and the G35 looks more aggressive in my opinion.

Ha! ive been researching the G35 for a while in anticipation of getting one. I would recommend getting at least an '04+. The '03 has so many recalls i wouldnt trust the previous owner to have kept up with all of them. Also, im assuming your getting the 6mt, the 03 and 04 came with the brembo brakes, but were discontinued for the 05. Sounds crappy not to have them, but i heard that if the brembos ever need servicing or parts be prepared to pay out the a##. Also, the interior changed for the '05 and comes with the radio key, which is cool to never need to take your keys out of your pocket and just walk up to your car, get in and push the start button.

The colors i like are the silver (not the grey), black, and red. Im actually waiting for the new ones to come out before i decide. If i like the new one, ill get that. If not, ill get the highest year of this gen that i can find. But finding the money to pay for the car AND pay for the mods, which are 2 times more expensive than for our car, will be tough... but of course necessary

Talked my dad about getting an 03 and he said he'd rather have me in a new one cuz I wouldnt have to put as much money down. Im really hoping this works out!

You work out? That's cool. I work out too but my membership is NOT contracted. I only pay like 30 bucks every month at the counter for renewal or something.

that new look is the redsigned g....the sedan is due out in a few months...the coupe will be out in about a year

it will also have the the new vq35hr...forged internals...7500 redline.....dual intakes...its gonna be sweet.

^ and thats why im waiting a year before i decide. Styling is either way, i like both. But the new engine is the key for me. If its all that it claims to be ill get the new one. If its not, then ill get an '07.

trust me that new motor is gonna rock...i dont think the 07 z is gonna have it...but if it does that will be great.

theres also a possibilty that the vq35hr will be the new gt-r motor..dubbed the vq35hrtt i suppose
