As some may know i am just about finished with my 3s swap (knock on wood) and soon I'm going to put on a custom 3 in exhaust, keeping the stock DP for now..
flex pipe and tubing 6 inch flex pipe or 8? also should all of my tubing be stainless or will it not matter if i get aluminzed steel? (i dont care so much about show, but i dont want it to rust out in a week...) ^any ideas about that stuff? what mandrel bends do i need? and how much straight pipe do i need? Resonator Magnaflow Resanator cat MagnaFlow HF Metallic Spun Converter - 59959 (will buy it soon) muffler Magnaflow Race Series 14835 Ok so i found what converter and muffler im getting, but i still need a bit of guidance on what to do for the rest... Run the stock DP for now until you can afford a good one. I run 3" all the way back no cat, no resonator and just a muffler. Not sure what my flex pipe is though.

QUOTE(jcbass7 @ Oct 10, 2006 - 12:35 PM) is the stock dp 3in? will this matter any? 3S-GTE is 2.5" OEM/Stock If you’re running a CT20b you will get major boost creep running a full 3" system, unless you get the dual wastegate port machined out to one port. |
