Is this a difficult thing to do, I just wanna get ahead of myself before I replace it. What are the steps to just replacing the mirror itself. I know the mirrors itself get removed by auto body paint companies when they paint a car so I know this is possible. Do they even sell the mirror by itself? I'm not even too sure if this topic falls under electrical or exterior because its kinda both.

are you talking the glass only ? or the entire mirror ?

for the glass, the bottom of the glass snaps in and should pop out. then the top just slides out. pics

if you need a new glass, I have one wink.gif

if you want to remove the entire mirror, remove the tweeter cover and remove the 3 10mm bolts. But then you need to remove your door panel to unplug the wires from the mirror smile.gif

Ok i was able to remove my side mirror by removing the 3 nuts. However, there was one screw still. I have no idea on how to take it out so I slowly pulled it out without damaging anything, Is there a way to remove this screw easier. I don't wanna have to pull the weatherstripping that outlines my door.

pull hard, don't worry, you wont break anything. It just pops in and out the rubber hole.

Actually thats what I did, so yea I was thinkin of pushing the screw in first then twisting the screw back into the side mirror after.
