Dude i killed my radio reception when i installed mine, anyone know how to get it back? I was thinking of attaching a bunch of some sort of metal onto the antenna on the inside of my car like by the motor but i dont know if this will work cause its behind the sheet metal...

I believe that is the S2000 antenna. I think you can get it from any Honda dealership for pretty cheap. There's a write up about it in the How-To section, here.
By the way, it looks awesome! This post has been edited by Inferno: Jul 2, 2003 - 6:42 PM |

Ok, its an s2000 antenna off a honda s2000. I went to the dealership and asked for one at the parts desk. The guy asked what I was putting it on, i told him my 6th generation celica and he told me it wouldnt fit. I responded with I know i have to modify it, how much? And the jacka$$ says 36 dollars. When they are 20 brand new on ebay. So on my way out of the showroom I simply unscrewed one off of their custom painted s2000. Installation is simple and sounds great. Any questions feel free to ask.
ps: props to whoever wrote the s2000 install. Its great. Blk(steals antennas)GT |

LOL! I can't believe you just snuck one off the S2000. That's hilarious. Props to you.
Just another reason why Toyota owns and Honda loses. |

No but really those guys at the honda place were a$$e$ . So if anyone wants a nice s2000 antenna I'll send it to you for shipping only. How illegal is this? Oh well they were mean to me.

please dont tell me you guys are using glue, it just kills me to think of even doing that....
....oh wait a minute, look at this....no glue... you guys should try finding a junked 7th gen and rip the whole antenna assembly off of it or even find a different antenna assembly that will accept the S2000 antenna, its worth the extra work. I get perfect reception, still looks good, and most off all i didnt have to put glue on my car. |

looking good!
has anyone tried running a similar aerial from where the rear washer sits. Nearly all the celica owners I know say their rear washer is useless so why not fit a "bee sting" or something similar in its place |

I have no idea why that is relevent to my car. But your car is extremely bad a$$ so I guess i will let it slid this time.
But yeah, the way that back nozzle just lets the sh!t ooze out makes it completele useless. Oh well. Kyel This post has been edited by blkGT: Jul 3, 2003 - 4:21 PM |
