Pound it out with a hammer? smile.gif Nah, I would just let a body shop fix it.

While your car is at the body shop, I would have them install 96+ side skirts (your first pic of skirts), and splitters for the front bumper and rear bumper.

They are going to repaint your rear end damage, so they might as well paint the skirts and splitters.

I would also have them install lower springs (Tein S-Techs), since you live in Florida and don't have to worry about curbs in the middle of the roas or potholes. wink.gif

Good luck with modding your car, you made a good choice to keep the car, as these Celicas run better and are more reliable than domestic cars with the 1/2 the mileage.

What's your plan? Do the work yourself? Do the work with some friends that know how to work on engines?

I know you won't do this, because it is a lot of money to put into an older car, but the smartest way to make your car fast, is pay Dr. Tweak 6 or 7 thousand dollars and have him swap the engine and convert your car to a manaul transmission.

I already have a manual. I was going to put a 3s-gte in it. I was going to get my boyfriend and some of our mechanic friends to help me.

I'm just going to turbo it and make it look like a normal little car, so people wont think anything of it.

I thought you bought the motor? You didn't specify which engine, specs, and where you got it from.

I just paid like one payment on it, so i didn't technically buy it and it was a 3sgte engine from a website i can't remember it was like jdmengines.com or something.....

if you're in florida, you might as well go with the 3sgte, since it's legal there and everything (I'm not jealous.... ok, maybe a little...)

I'm still contemplating on what to do. BUT!!!! I found another engine at a fairly good price ($1,850), but it sounds too good to be true. It comes with:
the motor
a five speed tranny
ecu, distributor
alternator
starter
throttle body
wiring harness (un-cut?)
a/c compresspr
power steering pump
turbo
and intercooler.
Is that a good deal or is it shady? Is that everything I would need??I read on another celica site that I would need a ton more if I just ordered the motor and it had a huge list (ie: AFM, ignitor coul, injector resistor pack, fuel pump resistor/relay ect), or would that be considered part on the motor? I have enough saved up to go ahead and buy the engine and do the swap of spring break if thats all its going to take... but if i have to buy all those extra parts that dont come with the engine, I may have to wait frown.gif
