As ever, fantastic car.
You need to keep an eye on your radiator though..when they go brown like that it means that they are nearing the end of their life, it may well last for years, but still worth keeping an eye on for cracks etc. again.....lovin the car. |

How long have you had them on and are they still shiny? I've heard that they change color after awhile because of the heat. Yes they are still shiny for now. they started out chrome and I only drove it about 10 mins coming home and now they are gold. they arent going to look real good in a couple weeks but Ill have my header wrap by then so I dont really care. Koyo radiators are pretty much the best you can get..one day I`ll fit a Koyo to mine when I can afford one, expect to pay quite alot of money for one, but they are worth every penny/cent, but you`ll never need to buy another one baring any unforseen events.

here's where I got my koyo:
http://intensepower.com/newkoyalrad.html it was the cheapest I could find, but they had had it on sale for only $300. to be honest, I noticed no difference, the engine still gets just as hot, maybe it cools down a little faster after being driven, but that's about it... -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

iirc, when your radiator gets to be more of a yellowish color, it will need to be replaced soon. somewhat like this.

Newest addition
Red turns Red needles Reverse Glow Guages they glow both green and blue. if you noticed, i decided to not put in the triangular corner pieces in. I liked the look of just the three circles. I found a good use for them though can you spot it? This post has been edited by QuintinGT: Jun 10, 2007 - 12:49 AM -------------------- |
