Man, I've seen stuff like this all my life. My mom worked in the ICU at a local hospital while I grew up and everyday there was stuff like this.

As long as the hospital does their job, he will make it out ok! Keep us posted on his condition....

QUOTE(x_itchy_b_x @ Oct 25, 2007 - 9:54 AM)

Unfortunately my father has been in the hospital since Monday. He crashed his bike and suffered severe head trauma (even with a helmet). its a very tough time for my family and I, so the car has taken the back seat for awhile.

OHH MAN!
sorry, john, that really sucks. i hope your dad pulls thru everything.
if you need anything man, just gimme a call.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Man, do i know that feeling all too well. Coming from someone who flew off a bike a month ago i can understand your father's position.

I wish him speedy recovery and thank god he was able to come away from it!
wish more of us were as fortunate.

Yeah he broke 13 ribs. a collar bone. but the head part is the worst. he knows the date. knows where he is. knows he crashed so were all glad he has his memory but he might lose function of his left side appendages... which would suck.

He just got out of the ICU yesterday, now hes going to rehabilitation. hes coming around slowly but surely. Things got worse before they got better (more brain swelling and things like that) he lost function of his left hand for a bit but not he can move it again. things are looking better now though. Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts it helped alot.

glad to hear he is out of ICU.

rehabilitation is going to be a long painful process, but to stick in there through it all, your dad will need your support. so rock on and keep him motivated, i'm glad to hear he is doing better, my best wishes
