QUOTE(celicast3sgte @ Nov 4, 2006 - 5:49 AM) lookin good, didnt catch that u were doing the oil cooler. very nice setup. did you look into the disc for the feed/return lines that only opens once oil has reached operating temps? just curious. yeah i saw that. well thing is have been running oil cooler before this one. just it was less efficient. i had no problems getting the car to operating temps at all with it and the ct26. im thinking the added efficiency will kinda cancel out on the holset since its only oil cooled and you how hot turbos get lol. so thats something i can always add on if theres a problem but i dont think there will be any. check out what i finally got in today. all thats left to purchase really is. everything else is either in the mail or i have hanging around here. :int manifold :aem ems unit :cams :springs This post has been edited by x_itchy_b_x: Nov 4, 2006 - 3:44 PM -------------------- |

ive done alot of research on the two. at first i wanted nemesis. but after doing looking around. its really not up to me which one i get, its really up to the tuner. and there are ALOT more tuners for aem. even if they aren't specialized in the 3sgte they know how an internal combustion engine works. so really its for tuneability. aem supplies you with new version firmware u can download free at their site, where whatever version of nemesis you buy your basically stuck with it. aem has a forum where if u can figure something out you can get help. also with aem eventually i plan to play with it myself. and the software they supply ive been playing with at work and it pretty cool i like it.
they a both the same price with the same options pretty much. aem is like 200 more for the options i would have to pay extra to get with the nemesis. so they are really close in price. -------------------- |

they aren't exposed i made a plexi glass window to fill the hole and its siliconed/some crazy glued in. we can shoot the timing light easy on the cam gears on the dyno or w/e iunno i was bored.
as for headwork, its basiclly ATS Eagle springs, with hks 264 exhaust, 272 intake cams. if my stock shims are fine for lash after i install the shims and buckets ill keep em. but if they need to be reshimmed ill think about going shimless, it would be nice but well see if i have the cash :x lol i still need to get this thing tuned later -------------------- |

QUOTE(97lestyousay @ Dec 5, 2006 - 11:49 PM) Sweet work. Are you leaving the pulleys exposed, I don't think I could run one like that un supervised. Road debris spells danger. Where can I get the #s for hole locations, outside radius, ect.. I really want to make one of these only prettier. haha, i can probly help you out. i was alos actually thinking of sending these out to a machine shop and having them mass produced but a little modified. and i could sell them to a company like ats or just sell them independently on ebay, im a dreamer lol. but alot of mr2 guys would like this, they lover the stockers and they do like top mounts lol. -------------------- |
