http://designengineering.com/ has made this cry02 thing that uses c02 to cool air going into ur intake 35% over stock. Seems like it would work. anybody?

The intercooler sprayer looks like a great mod... very sound theory!!!

however:
The air intake cooler looks like a waste; adds weight adds restriction, and only kicks in with full throttle so there would be a lag to get the air to cool.

The fuel rail cooler would add little or even hurt performance. Fuel needs to atomize completely to get effecient and powerful combustion, if it is cooled too much, you would loose power.

I cant see why It wouldnt work, Ford did pretty much the same thing to the new engine for the lightning, and it adds 50 hp..

well, I have a CO2 bottle for my keg system (cost less than $100 cdn), you could go pick them up from a ubrew place and then you would just need a sensor for full throttle, solonoid valve and a heat exchanger to put onto your intake!!! wink.gif

Bet you they charge a pretty penny for that thing!!!

Actually...first site came up in google when i put in cry02 had it for sale. Come on man...don't go asking unless u first try google...if you can't find it there then ask for help.

OK go to stylinconcepts.com first. They are areputable site and offer the main kit at 369.95...which is needed to install any of the other stuff. They sell the intake kit then for 150...here go to it for urself...you were already lazy enuff not to do a search...u can make up for it by not having me tell you prices and instead u go to the link urslef and find out...
