Whats up everyone. I hear different opinions on this matter.
I am swaping to a 3sgte
Some say the GT tranny will break
Some say it will hold just fine.

Now ......

Who is running on the gt transmission?

Who has run the gt tranny and broke?

Yes I have been reading on that upgrade.
It is something I would do; but I dont see the need if the tranny that I already have will work fine.

I would like to hear from people that have done the 5f to 3sg swap and kept their 5sp gt tranny.
I would also like to hear from people that also swapped the 3sgte to a gt not st. Most write ups are for st.

I've done many 3SGTE swaps into both GTs and STs. I've always used the GT transmission. None of my customers have ever broken one.

basic idea is.... if your gt tranny is really old, maybe its time to upgrade or replace it. if its in good shape, youll be just fine with it.

over 2yrs on my swap with a gt tranny. no problems.
