For my 7th gen... I always just leave it on. I never really touch the switch because everything's automatic.

using fog lights for drl is fine... but er... you really shouldn't have them on all the time at night... i see SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many people do that here... fog lights are for fog... on a clear night they could be blinding to oncoming traffic...

so i don't drive with my foglights on if i don't need them

My foglights are wired into the switch on the steering column and as a seperate switch, so when I click it over to City lights (no headlights, but corner markers and indicators are on) they come on, but if I don't want them on I can use the seperate switch. Its nice to have.

I haven't had to replace my bulbs yet, but I assume that when I need to I it will be like the headlights... cramming my hand into a space that wasn't meant for a hand, and do it all while trying not to touch the bulb.

For me it's answer easy... Use foglights when is not foggy is prohibited. End of story kindasad.gif

p.s.: of course I mean in my country (dunno how it's worldwide)...

mine are a too bright for oncoming traffic so i only use them in dense fog or on long dark mountain roads late at night. in order for me to use mine i have to take off the stone shields so it makes me only use them when necessary:)
