Yesterday as I was going out of a parking lot, i kinda bottomed out a little on the road and i hear this loud a$$ clanking noise, so i pull of the street and pull into the parking lot, and i hear this loud ass noisse yet again, and now my car totally fails to go into drive, well it goes into drive but it does not turn the wheels, it acts as though the car is in neutral. Anyways just thought you guys should know, just incase this ever happens to one of you guys.

exactly where are they breaking for you guys? is it the CV joint itself that is breaking? or is the actuall shaft of the axel snapping? drivers or passanger side?
either way...sucks. at least doing a axel on the celica is pretty easy, with some basic tools. wink.gif

yeah its Really really easy actually... the hardest part was getting the axle nut off.. 33mm deepsocket did it for me... mine failed inside the boot... my dumbass stepdad apparently didnt pack the grease correctly when he cleaned and re-booted it lol...

when my Cv axle came out... i was doing 85 ish and hit a moderetly sized pothole= (
