these are pics of what happens when you suck in the seafoam thru your pcv valve! more smoke=more cleaning action! (you can also use one of your vaccum lines but youre better off using the pcv.

also use in gas tank and oil crank case (BEFORE AN OIL CHANGE)

ive been meaning to get these pics on here since june! I remember someone saying they couldnt get their pics up a long time ago

once you use it you can feel the difference! it continued to smoke real bad after i drove home but it went away...

actually.. i was trying 2 do that 2day and put it thro a vacuum line.. but yea... i bought a hose that didn't fit =/

I used seafoam, but mine did not smoke that much haha. I used the brake booster hose. But it worked really well for my car, i really like the stuff .

It works the same as your synthetic oils. It cleans everything out really well. That is usually considered a good thing. But the problem is, there could be chucks of stuff that get knocked loose and then cause problems. Like a big chuck of carbon. I don't know if it collects like that, but that's what I've heard against sea foam. My car has 155k on it, and I use sea foam. Never hurt anything. You always run the risk of stuff like that when you dump things besides gas in your motor. Just be ready for it. The sea foam in the gas tank really helps. You notice a difference in the pick up of the car with it in there. Once it's gone, so is the extra oomph. I use a Lucus oil fuel system cleaner with every tank of gas I put in. Lubricates valves and helps the gas burn hotter. And that's a good thing. More effectant burn. Basicly, us all at your own risk, but I would try it.

so is it ok to put it in the vacuum hose connected to the throttle opener? cuz i THINK that's what someone from celicatech sed to do (they had a none working pic and someone in the next post said that is probably the throttle opener)

so how are you enjoying your new turbo celica? i didnt really see you post a review or anything yet.

car is running GREAT!! i need a new belt because the ac condenser pulley is bent and its fraying the edges of the belt (motor came like that) and the stock BOV has a leak in it (constantly pushes out air even when idling) but other than that! im good! going to install guages sometime this week and hopefully a boost controller SOON so i can get up off of only 8psi!

and im definately trying to get back to ny soon shin, im scared to drive all the way up with the swap tho (engine may overheat)
sea foam is pretty safe for tubos rite?

yeah its fine for the turbo, My buddy uses it with every oil change in his a4 1.8t. the only thing you should do when you run the seafoam, is change your sparks soon. the amount of exaust and the amount of carbon reall f's with you plugs, makes em all black.

As far as putting it in your oil, i use it with every other oil change b4 i drain it. When i took off my valve cover, ii was amazed at how clean it looked, it really deals with oil sludge (minimal in our cars, more so in turboed engines)

I think seafoam is an incredible product, and its fun to use!

i used something similar to that when i first got my car repaired last year, though i did it at night when no one was around. i wouldn't recommend using it in residential areas... ya might want to go somewhere out of the city and drive it on the hwy at higher rpms to really shoot the carbon build-up out and circulate the engine.

it really feels like it revs a bit faster and smoother..
i added it to my sister's 5th gen with 400,000 kms (yeah) and it made such a difference in power. though try not to use it too often..

The only problem with sea foam is that you may have a small leak somewhere in your engine, but was blocked off by all the sludge. when you run the sea foam through the engine the sludge breaks loose allowing it to leak again.

i just used it yesterday... wasn't that much smoke. not sure if i noticed any gain in power... probably very minimal.. but it drove smoother than b4, that's for sure. gonna change my oil in a week or 2 and see how much crap comes out of it

i plan to use it soon, hopefully it wont leak since its a newer engine (1999) but shin, it overheated when i came back from tweak's (4hr drive) maybe the thermometer got stuck?
