actually it looks like the plate on the skyline is from VA. that was taken at Bimmerfest East about 2 years ago.
we actually do not have any photos of the installation process. it was really cold and just wanted to get it done but if anyone wants I can take a pic of it already installed, although I think Dustin already has one from his trunk $15 off eBay This post has been edited by hurley97: Oct 27, 2006 - 1:18 AM -------------------- |

QUOTE(My2Celi @ Oct 27, 2006 - 11:30 AM) nice work. btw i just got the same alarm you do. how do u like it? I love it. I always forget if I locked the car or not so its really nice that it tells me. has great range too its also nice when it tells you that the shock sensor is going off and you can go stand next to your car and watch the person who can't parallel park so they try harder not to hit it This post has been edited by hurley97: Oct 30, 2006 - 3:02 AM -------------------- |

If your output is positive then your fine, but if your output is negative you need to wire in a relay to change the polarity of the current. I bought mine from a site online a while back, Steff got hers from ebay. They were the same set for around $15-$20 shipped. The acuator is rated to about 10lbs which is just good and fine but honestly I would try to get one rated higher. -------------------- |

Code Alarm TKRS1 Trunk Release Solenoid $15 shipped from ebay. the alarm has a fuse to make the trunk release positive or negative. put a fuse in the positive side so no relay needed. -------------------- |

Advanced Two-Way Command Confirming Vehicle Security with Enhanced Keyless Entry it went for about $150 on eBay. maybe a little less now. I got mine from the seller caraudioshoppe for $119 shipped since I ordered something else and they made a mistake so they offered to send me the upgraded alarm at no extra charge. -------------------- |

I like it a lot so far, it has great range. it has a shock sensor and starter disable, the remote has a bunch of features you can access using combinations of buttons (like parking meter countdown, interior temp, alarm clock) QUOTE(jcbass7 @ Nov 6, 2006 - 11:41 AM) QUOTE(hurley97 @ Nov 4, 2006 - 11:29 AM) haha, you recognized it Haha yea didn't take me long either, i drive by that everytime i leave base.
