So I finished my header-back exhaust about a week ago and was wondering how much of a difference i should have seen if any? I had two cats before, and I beleive eitehr 1.75-2.00" pipe. I replaced all of that for 2.25" pipe with only 1 highflow cat. PLUS headers. Just wondering if anybody can tell me a rough estimate of how to see if it made a difference. I know before all of that my car wouldnt leave patches at stop signs, now it does easily. maybe a zero-sixty test? Anybody have numbers to compare it to?

You probably only gained a few max horsepower...and your car doesn't have headers. It has one header. wink.gif

You should have picked up a few hp across the intire range of rpms, depending on header style. This also increases throttle response. It also helps if you want to do future mods, you now have the exhaust to support it. Your engine can flow easy enough to handle a nitrous shot, if you want that. I would work on a little suspension mods and try to autoX the car. Celica's are great for that. You've probably picked up a nice amount of torque, maybe 5-10ft-lbs. That's what helps you.

Expect a little loss in terms of low end on these cars.

go out and drive it, see if it feels any different. i personally noted more pull in the higher rpms.

As did it. I am just trying to see if everything is mmk. You know? I was thinking about getting one of those electric superchargers to see if it would make any difference. I am thinking not much if any but as Bigmeanbulldog55 said, I opened up the exhaust so my engine can take more in right?
