Well your going to need a 3sgte but with fwd being a "power junkie" traction is your worst issue, the reason "dual" exhaust isnt used is because most people like the single canister look like a supra, the bumper doesnt house the dual exhaust well. Just get it custom made, 2.5 or 3 inch it doesnt really matter to be honest, your not going to be 400whp without a decent ammount of money lol. best of luck.

If you go dual, use 2 2" pipes... It's a bitch to get 3" done.. specially 2 3" pipes.. unless you go with 3" back to a certain point then split it off to 2 2" pipes..

to do it correctly you'd need a 3" down pipe which ran into a 3" inlet reducing down to two 2" pipes (Y pipe) then run 2 2" pipes all the way back...not too hard just takes someone with the knowledge of how to make the reducing Y pipe
and its spelled "Dual" This post has been edited by playr158: Oct 29, 2006 - 9:12 AM |

i plan on a single side pipe thats a striaght pipe with nothing (muffler, cat, res) on it just pipe. and have that open an close with an electric exhaust cutout. then when i wanna be quiet i can have the exhaust go out the stock exhaust path with cats res muffler ect. that way i can TRY to pass emissons atleast. and not get pulled over for having a loud exhaust. just a flick of a switch to go from quiet to retardedly loud.

Sounds like i what i use to have on my ws6 TA and what my cuz has on his srt-4 i like that it makes the car sound like a beast ...... on any car really the only diff. is that if we wanted to make it quite or pass emissons we have to lift the car then put on the plate that covers it its a pain that way i always thought about doing the electric one but i was lazy ...... |

if you go ahead and run 3" exhaust on your unturboed 5sfe or 7afe, your gonna lose uber Compression.
