hi
not sure if ngk make toyota there spark plugs or not can find out tomorrow though. I would buy toyota cables also because toyota make all there prouducts just for toyota. unless your race your celica go with the more expence stuff. Just drive for fun and to work stick with Toyota plugs and wires. answer pure dx I can look it up tomorrow but Ngk is a lot more then toyota spark plugs. If they are then why not buy toyota spark plugs if Ngk make them for toyota This post has been edited by celica95gt: Nov 1, 2006 - 3:01 PM |

I'd prefer denso iridium/platinum plugs,or even ngk. Don't use domestic plugs like bosch, autolite, etc.

Yeah, Platinums last longer. I have Bosch +4 Spark Plugs. They work great with aftermarket spark plug wires. Noticable.

toyota recommends denso or NGK plugs.
oem wires, cap, and rotor will be the best solution, and longest lasting. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

Here's a spark plug question:
The 1999 Toyota Repair Manual says to replace with either DENSO made PK20TR11 or NGK made BKR6EKPB11 - both platinum multi-ground Haynes and sparkplugs.com say NGK BKR6EP11 - a double platinum Obviously I'm inclined to go with the Toyota Repair Manuals recommendation but was wondering which should be used and what kind of a difference it would really make. P.S.: I've also heard of some people using plugs one heat range colder in California because the gas is "crappy and oxygenated". Any thoughts on this? |
