Who, when, and how many? I've recently had two go bad on me and I'm about ready to go to war on these guys, since the best thing they've offered me is to "repair" the defective clutches. I'd like to have an accurate list of people who have had one fail on them so that if need be I can put a BIG LAWSUIT together.

you might want to also list what stage clutch it was that went bad. so far there seems to be a problem with the stage 2's but not the stage 3's.

August 2006 SPEC stage 2 rivots that hold the hub to the friction sheared out. they since sent me a replacement stage 2 that doesnt have those rivots, just a single metal plate like the stage 2+ pictures on their webpage.

Doc, if it helps, the Stage II in our car seems to be holding up fine. I'm only going to say this considering how big in the F-Body world Spec is: there's a reason that they have good customer service.
FWIW, the Stage II I put in our Trans Am in March is holding up fine too. I think with their clutches it boils down to three things: Installation, break-in, and hit or miss. This post has been edited by Fastbird: Oct 31, 2006 - 8:34 PM -------------------- |
