Well, I just bought 93 fog lights and they're super nice, and I scored them for only $45!!! Anyways, I need help installing them. So if someone has a quick write-up for me to use or if they wanna help me step by step that would be much appreciated. Also, I dunno if this is important, but I don't have a switch for them. I just have the foglights with their wiring harness. No switch or wiring kit. I can prolly buy a wiring kit, but do I need that switch or can i just hook it up to the one that controls the regular lights?

Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

If its a 93, not sure how you want to decide how to mount them first.

Under the bumper there are two holes that already there simply mount them in there...i had to take off the bumper to reach one of the holes....also make sure the bulbs you want are in there first because you can't change the bulb once there mounted..

these are 93 fogs and brackets so the holes probably won't line up so you would need to drill at least 2 new holes wink.gif

you can change the bulbs after everything is mounted and all put back together. The fogs seperate from the brackets with one bolt.

yes you will have to drill holes. but it will be very hard because of limited space and crash bar? being in the way. i went that route and it was hard. man i forgot how i did it but i managed to get my aftermarket lights in but ill get pics to better explain.

Okay, cool. Well, I prolly go get a wiring harness tomorrow and install them either Friday or Saturday, so no rush guys. Just keep the good feedback coming. It sounds like its going to be a rough outting though.

I think I have the wiring part down, I went to Napa and they explained a little how to do it. I just need a little help on how to mount them. Please help. Any pictures or commentary would be cool.

I don't think anyone has put 90-93 fogs in their 6th gen before, why didn't you just get 94-95 fogs, they bolt right up ?

the best advise I can give you is to take you front bumper off (check the exterior sticky for instructions) and drill some holes in the crash bar and mount the fogs. Wire them in and replace bumper.

I really didn't know that people never used 5th gen fogs, and anyhow, the guy I bought them from only had the 93 fogs. Well, at least I can be unique!

I'll try install them this weekend, taking off the bumper is going to be a challenge.
