I know this question has probably come up in older conversations, but I could not find one in the archives so here is a new post. I have had my celica for about a year now. Its stock with the 5sfe, and now is the time to upgrade. I'm going 3sgte but not for a while. Since I need something now, I need an exhuast. Most people agree that the Greddy is a good system. Dollar for Dollar, bang for buck, what is the BEST exhaust system out on the market today that will fit the 5sfe and under the Veilside kit? And I would like a nice tone to the exhaust, no high pitch ricey crap. Thank you all. |

dollar for dollar you would probally be better off to go custom...get pipes bent..buy a seperate muffler..however there is alot of hoops and stuff to go through when doing that...with the greddy you know it sounds..somewhere on this site someone posted a sound clip of the car going past the recorder..however it dosent give a great example at a standstill...I would go with the Greddy..its a little pricey however you know it will fit...and it fits real easy...Though if you want to get creative you could do custom, you meant get it alot cheaper...weather or not you want to deal with the possible headaches...

Yeah, a possibilty is doing a custom job. I love the look of a canister muffler. I have only built one exhaust system and that was for my firebird. But this seams more complicated for some reason?
