Ya it doesn't look to bad but it all depends on if anything behind that is messed up, like anything on the radiator, or the frame. But if everything back there is fine i would say you could get just the body work fixed for 1500 at a really good shop or 1000 for a decent shop. Your gonna need a new bumper and you might want to get a new hood if it is bent up real bad (I couldn't see it very well on the pics but it looks like you have a dent in the middle but that could just be a reflection) because if they just straighten it, it may look wavy if the dent is real deep. Painting the bumper should be about 600 and the hood mabey just to straighten it 300. If you buy a new hood and then to prep and paint it about another 600. so about 1200. I put this stuff in here as what I would say would be average 600 is what I got quoted on a new hood, the retard that had the car before me used the wrong size tie down rod on the battery and pushed a part of the hood up and it's rusting now, but the bumper I don't really know I am justing quessing that it would be about the same as a hood since it is basically the same thing with the preping and painting. Somebody PLEASE correct me if I am way off here.

hey man, that's a nice car! I don't wan't to give you false hopes but I'm about 98% sure your car is gonna be just fine. When I bought my car, front of it was peeled like a banana but I was able to fix mine myself. I agree with getting the carbon fiber hood. I think it would end up being cheaper than oem because I think the hood is almost 400$ on ebay but the thing is that it wouldn't need paint. Anyways, I think your car looks great and I hope everything works out for you.

looks like a borderline write off to me. When I cracked up my dad's old pickup, the guy was going to write if off, so I asked him how much we would get for it. Can't remember what it was, but it was about half of what it would cost to replace, so I convinced the guy not to write it off.
You need to find out the book values of the car to figure out if it is a write-off, and sometimes to book values do not reflect the market values. If i were you I would not want it to be a write-off, buy a front clip and transfer the parts over. It would cost you a little more, but you could sell the extra parts to make some cash back. could have either a GT-4 front end or a j-spec with a beams engine!!!!! |

Damage doesn't look too bad. I estimate 1-2 grand. But I'm no specialist, so, I hope I'm wrong and its less for you. Good luck, man.
