I've been looking for an exhaust, and I think it would be helpful if we had an exhaust thread. I know there are some scattered around but it would be nice if we could get it all in one place. I want to hear different exhausts on the celica. So if you have a sound clip, video and even pictures post them so me and others can see whats available.

Here man, I managed to get a few pics and even a vid clip of my exhaust to show you what I did. I hope it helps; and don't mind the undercarriage, it looks like rust under the car but it's really not. It's that unavoidable red dirt we got on our roads that made it look that way .

I'll have mine posted up tomarrow while I work on my neon lights. I'm trying to do a Before/After thing with my exhaust becuz I don't have a header yet and I plan on getting a new muffler.

Oh yeah, your exhaust sounds very similar to a Magnaflow.

Does anyone know the size specs on the greddy sp2 muffler? My local shop is giving me prices and i chose the sp2 but i don't have in in my possesion nor can i find the W x H x D

The peforations give that Deep throaty exhaust note when idling, caused when the air rushes over the holes. Kinda like when you blow across the top of a beer bottle.

2.5" mandrel bent custom piping made by local exhaust shop
Magnaflow 2.5" in/out catalytic converter from summit-racing
Magnaflow 2.5" in/out round resonator muffler from summit-racing
Megan Racing N1 muffler 2.5" in/out from ebay

Profile has rest of specs on the Celica.

OMG, I have a straight pipe for a muffler and its loud as he11 I am in my own league when I rival the local V8 350's in a ear breaking gas eatting muffler contest. My gas mileage as it stands now is 15 to the gallon of PREMIUM gas PREMIUM GAS! I think Im going deaf so im putting in a new muffler this week, any guess on what kind it is?

Lets just say that 2 of my friends backed off from the car when I revved it.

I ment inline as in its not attached to the manifold as a factory one does. Its located inline with the exhaust system just after the flex pipe.

The downpipe I have is too small. It looks really restrictive. like around 1 3/4 or maybe 2. I know its definetely not 2.25 which is what i wanted. I was wondering if I cut the end of it, were it goes from 2-1 could i have the shop just weld on so its 2.25 ALL the way through to the muffler?
