Anyone know of any issues with a 5gc (GT-GTS) radiator fitting into a 94 GT?
The dimensions are similar.. the 5gc rad is slightly shorter from tank to tank.. but an inch or so longer.. they are both 1" thick.. -------------------- 87 4runner DLX 22re, 5spd, 4.30gr, 4" lift, 30" tires, HID w/ Projectors, 6spkr + sub, custom exhaust, 94 celica leather seats, SR5 gauge cluster and clinometer. Future engine swap... possibly a 2jzge.

Usually when talking about different radiators, people want to go bigger. I went with the automatic transmission radiator for that reason. Same bolt up, but a little larger. I wouldn't go smaller unless it was free. Even then, I don't think I would. Not many are going to be able to tell you what it's like bolting a smaller radiator in place. You'll probably just have to try this one out and see how it goes.

an st185 rad would be beneficial, because it is meant for a turbo car therefore has better cooling abilities. but the gt-gts rad would be downgrading. It has a thinner core and is meant to cool an econo motor. why would you want to do this? is your rad leaking?

Top tank cracked by the water neck.
I just repaired it with a 5 minute plastic epoxy.. was able to drive it home the 6 miles. Infact that **** really sealed the crack up from what I can tell.. I could probably go drive the car around no problem.. I had doubts about an epoxy working.. just cuz I'm more of a mechanical like.. metal and solids person.. if u get my drift. I don't ever hold much trust in glues.. I like solid fasteners.. however I've seen some pretty amazing **** with glues now and apparently my doubts of their abilities aren't founded on any solid ground just personal preference. But even that preference is changed it's views now. Cliffnotes: Cracked tanks on your radiator and car stuck somewhere? Epoxy that **** up.. I let it sit for 3hrs and fully cure.. (even tho it's a 5 minute epoxy ![]() -------------------- 87 4runner DLX 22re, 5spd, 4.30gr, 4" lift, 30" tires, HID w/ Projectors, 6spkr + sub, custom exhaust, 94 celica leather seats, SR5 gauge cluster and clinometer.
