check your fuses, you may have grounded the cluster when you put it back in, also make sure you put all your plugs back in the cluster, i know it sounds obvious, but somethings we forget the obvious things

did you put the needle the same way/location that you took it out?

Yes, it could be an obvious problem. Try taking it out and connecting everything back

what did you use to put it on, too thick of tape wont let the needles move freely, rubber cement is the best to use to adhere the overlays, nice thin layer will do

Did you play with the needles when you took your cluster out ??

no i was very careful not to touch the needles

i could rip my needles out and the lights would still work... im still thinking its an electrical problem and i would check my fuses. check the back of the cluster to make sure you didnt damage part of that flimsy electrical board putting it in, and make sure you plugged everything back in, did you tap into the dimmer switch for power? when you say the lights dont work, do you mean the gauge cluster lights or the indiglo gauge lights?

well i fixxed the problem but i went glue crazy and put to much glue and some of it leaked onto the temp needle and gas needle so now i need to buy new cluster and new guages.....:-\

next time use spray on adhesive and just spray it on the back of the indiglo gauges

installing these suckers are harder than you think...at most cases, you will have to take out the needles and put the gauges in then place back the needles in the right way...mines are on an average 10MPH slower on the gauge...ill fix it when i find those stand up speed radar detector and plug it in...

A dab of 3M super weather strip adhesive applied on the tip of a K bob skew is what i used. Gauges love to flex but a little dab on either side of the needles, carefull NOT to glue them worked like a champ. (under the glo gauge and original face)

(under the glo gauge and original face) It makes it easier if you pull straight out any stop pins before trying to install and work your way from longest to shortest needles. Then reinsert pins, You may have to add , or camfer holes first so triple check first then when you are positive you can't screw it up, check once more before you start to make a longshoreman blush !!!!

Spray on adhesive doesn't give you much room for error.Once it's set your done.
