i think some civic/del-sol intakes have been cut to work.. but i personally dont think its worth the hassle... just buy u a nice Injen CAI .. you'll like the preformance and sound... plus IT'S NOT A HONDA PART! biggrin.gif

there is nothing wrong with honda parts. a car is a car and an intake is an intake.

if it can be made to fit, go for it.

im just sayin .. if he has a problem with honda fit parts ( like some people on this site do ... NOT ME).. then he should go for something designed for his friggin car.. like the injen.. if u wanna get a cheapy civic intake, cut it up, and make it fit.. go for it.. but if u dont want that hastle.. go for the injen.. i recommend it .. thats all im sayin

yea, you could always spend $100 more and get the same power and sound responses rolleyes.gif yes civic intakes do fit with little or no modification. yes, you can go buy the aluminum intake tube at auto zone and buy a k&n filter and have the same power and sound as the more pricey ones for half the price of them. but, hey......i dont have all the money in the world so i had to become creative too. go for it.

lol. i know i am a smartass. but its the only flaw that i have so it has to be a strong one biggrin.gif jk. nah, i had a cheap civic intake and K&N filter on the celi first. didnt really tell a difference besides sound. then i opted for the Dolocek Cold Air Intake which i unfortunately did not get to use since i decided to throw on tha ole boost. but i did hear great stuff about the DR. CAI. anywayz, you want sound and a little performance, getta "cheap" civic intake tube and filter. you want little sound and better performace get the DR. CAI. but hey, you could always just put turbo on and be done with it. wink.gif

autozone civic intake is 39.95 and it works just fine. If you're poor like me then go ahead and get it. You won't notice a huge diff.but you will notice a little diff. not only in the sound but you will feel a tiny amount of tourque gains in the beggining of your power band. I'd say go ahead and get it.
