Ya, they were some of the very few games that actually were. The DS on the other hand, has so many fun and addicting games.

PS3 unlike Xbox 360, is a huge step up from it's previous versions. look up the specs and ya'll understand.

shin, you saw the game play videos of Gears of War. the 360 is a HUGE step forward from its previous version.
i know most people like one or the other, but when all is said and done, the 2 consoles will have be able to do pretty similar graphics in their games. it just comes down to whos games you like better.

the launch line up of games for this xmas sucks on the ps3. nothing really good coming out. thats why i think its worth it to wait a year or so before buying one, so that the price might drop and you might get some games worth playing.

i agree. but the 360 didnt have very many good launch games either. lol

Missing the christmas frenzy.

XBOX will rule the roost this christmas in the UK. Sony are losing alot of money by holding back the launch.


It really annoys me that they don't just launch worldwide at the same time. Japan has had it for a while now, you guys get it this month and we have to wait another 6 months???

Where is the logic?

They complain about people importing them and have taken 1 website to court over PSP importing but they still defer launch in the UK for long after the rest of the world.

I just got an XBOX 360 last night. At Wal*Mart, it's 399.82, bundled with Burnout: Revenge. Can't beat that. I also picked up Gears of War, and I will be selling my PS2, and getting a couple of other games. .

They had a PS3 there on display, btw. That thing is HUGE.

Ever considered the market? How many units does the UK move versus the US and Japan? I'd assume that they release in the largest markets first, and send the first few batches there, then move on as time progresses. They probably do not have the means to launch a worldwide release, and have sufficient systems enough to even scratch the surface of all of the markets.

That's just an educated guess though.

so yea.. checked out Circuit city on union square - 30+ campers since yesterday... Best Buy on bay parkway - 50+ campers since yesterday.... guess there are people who would sacrifice for it... oh well.. guess i'll just wait till March.

i think in canada the big box stores have a sign saying you can't line up more than 24hrs ahead...

ebay is going to limit how many PS3's are put up for sale in the next few months. I think thats just freakin crazy, but there is an article on it on CNN.com. Too lazy to post a link tho. In my newest EGM, one of the letters states that some guy sold his spot in line for 600 dollars to reserve a PS3 at EB games. Word...

guys im a old guy and dont post on here much but i manage eb games and just check with them everyday if you to get one ..we will get more .. if they are honest they will tell you if they have some on the way or available ..i tell all my customers call me everyday ..i dont care ..
