I got a map sensor from the junk jard cheap. It came from a single turbo supra. The part# is 89420-14020. Does anyone know if this will work on the 3sgte? Thanks! -toyotacrazy

yeah it should
simple way to check is to hook it up with no vacuum connected to it...you should see about 2-2.5 volts on the outlet pin at 0psi ...if so then it's a 2bar map and that;s what the 3sgte had (some had a 2 bar, some had a 2.2 some had a 2.5) depends on the exact year -------------------- 2005 MB C200 Kompressor- K&N, Apexi WS2 Catback, DIY Voltage stabilizer, Intrax Springs, H&R RR swaybar, VDO Boost Gauge @ 6psi, Greddy L7 plugs, +0 Rear tires

The car doesnt run yet. Could you be more specific on what to check? Is there a continuity check I could do? Or does it need to be hooked up to a car? Thanks! |

Voltage at 0PSI is .2v |
