well i checked my cel today and i got this

(blink) (blink) (blink) (blink) (short pause) (blink) (i think a little longer pause) (blink) (blink) (blink) (blink)

and then a super long pause like normal and then it did the sequence again.

from a later thread it looks like it might be a "41 - TPS Open or short circuit in VTA signal Test Throttle Position Sensor" but whats up with that last four???

btw which book and what page/chapter are the codes in the repair manuls for the gt4

thanks

I'll have to check the GT4 repair manuals when I get home but I'm pretty sure that the info in that link is correct if you scroll down to the 3rd gen stuff.

It may be a code 14 or it could be a 54. You need to double check your codes and make sure you're counting the flashes right. That is the only way we can help.

I would guess its code 54. It would allow the car to run in low-boost/safe mode. Code 14 would cause the car to stall and possibly not start (or only run for 1-2 seconds or so).

Oh. I didn't realise it was running already. In that case I would bet that it is a code 54.
